Kevin moved to North Carolina in 2006. During his years in Western North Carolina, he was the Founder and Proprietor of Making Memories Ranch, a 13-acre farm in nearby Horse Shoe, North Carolina. Kevin raised Friesian horses, pigs and chickens before he found his true love in converting ½ of the property to an Airbnb. Kevin hosted 786 guests in 4 years earning a 5 Star rating with Airbnb’s Superhost program. After selling the ranch in October of 2017, he purchased a 1920 Bungalow Cottage in the Historic Downtown District of Hendersonville, NC. It had been less than (1) year when he found himself missing the Innkeeper experience and began looking for a quality Inn. After a few other properties did not tick all his search criteria he reached out to The BBTeam’s Peter Scherman to hyper focus his search. Peter worked in tandem with Kevin to introduce Rick Newman of InnFinancing.com and voila the North Lodge was identified. Kevin realized instantly this property had a special legacy that he could take to a new level for his guests.
