Bluegrass First Class 2014

January 26th, 2014 by Corey A. Edwards

Bluegrass First Class 2014Once again, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC will ring with the infectious sounds of good-time music as Bluegrass First Class 2014 hits the stage for three days, the third weekend of February.

Asheville, NC is always a great place to visit with great food, shops, galleries, museums, and historic tours. A haven for artists, craftsmen, and musicians from around the globe, it only makes sense that Asheville is also an excellent and obvious venue for festivals, year-round – especially bluegrass!

This year’s Bluegrass First Class 2014 lineup is shaping up nicely. Take a look!

Rhonda Vincent & The Rage ( 7-time Female Vocalist of the Year )
Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out ( 5-time, IBMA Male Vocalist of the year )
Lou Reid & Carolina
Newton & Thomas
The Crazy Water Crystals ( duets from the 30′s and 40′s )
Sons of Bluegrass, with special guest, Amethyst

Dailey & Vincent
Seldom Scene
The Rambling Rooks
Flatt Lonesome!

An unparalleled weekend of incredible, foot-stomping musical performances, Bluegrass First Class 2014 has, as you can see, attracted many of the finest, local bluegrass musicians as well as several up and coming bands that you will not want to miss.

While the main action will occur onstage at the Grand Ballroom, many artists will also be entertaining audiences in the venue’s sunken lounge, giving you an opportunity to get up close and personal with these talented musicians in an intimate setting. There will also be meeting rooms setup for clinics, talks, and impromptu jamming.
