Still, that also means that it’s time to celebrate and, if you’re celebrating an Asheville New Year’s Eve, you could do a lot worse than the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad New Year’s Eve Celebration!

The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is a year-round tourist excursion train that travels through quaint mountain towns and past sparkling rivers that flow along the southwestern side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On New Year’s Eve the train transforms into a rolling party with live music, dancing, dining, and general celebration!
