Flock to the Rock 2014Attention Birders and Nature Lovers! One of the great, fall migration birding events is about to take place at Chimney Rock State Park, September 20th and 21st: Flock to the Rock!

Last post I told you about Chimney Rock State Park, which was serendipitous with Flock to the Rock just around the corner. Chimney Rock State Park is home to over 130 species of birds throughout the year, including warblers, vireos, tanagers, woodpeckers, thrushes, owls, and various birds of prey, including the majestic Peregrine Falcon.
