Asheville Beer Week 2016The 5th Annual Asheville Beer Week is just weeks away and looking like more fun and suds than ever before witht he week just jam-packed with beer tastings, pairings, dinners, music, and much more – May 27th through June 4th, 2016!

Nine full days of beer-centric events, including the 2016 Beer City Festival on May 28th, makes Asheville Beer Week a no-brainer must-attend for beer lovers.

Asheville Beer Week 2016 is scheduled to feature an amazing array of beer-related events including tastings, dinners, beer education — even a luau and a baseball game – take a look at these highlights!

2016 Asheville Beer Week Event Schedule Highlights

May 27 – Highland’s Rooftop Grand Opening and
Asheville Beer Week Kick Off PARTY!

4pm – 9pm at Highland Brewing Company
Enjoy 360º views of the Blue Ridge Mountains with a pint at Highland Brewing Company’s Rooftop Patio Grand Opening and Asheville Beer Week Kick off!

May 29 – Bourbon Barrel Aged Skillet Bottle Release
12pm – 5pm at Burial Beer Co.
Come celebrate the bottle release of Burial Beer’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Skillet breakfast stout, aged in Four Roses Bourbon barrels for 8 months, and crafted from a blend of nine barley malts, oats, milk and molasses sugars, and a blend of freshly roasted Counter Culture Coffee beans.

May 30 – Asheville Beer Week Oskar Blues Trolley Crawl with Thirsty Monk
5:30pm – 9:30pm at Thirsty Monk Downtown
Ride the Oskar Blues trolley tour to all the Thirsty Monk locations in Asheville: Downtown Monk, Open Brewing in Gerber Village, Biltmore Park, and Woodfin.

May 31 – Women of WNC Beer at Thirsty Monk Downtown
5pm – 9pm at Thirsty Monk Downtown
Celebrate the WNC craft beer industry’s leading ladies and enjoy a beer brewed by women from Asheville’s beer industry.

June 1 – Not So Big BIG Beer Festival 2016 at Thirsty Monk Thompson St. Warehouse
5:30pm – 9:30pm at Thirsty Monk Warehouse
America’s top craft breweries will feature a selection of their rare and specialty beers in an intimate outdoor/covered setting.

June 1 – Bees, Beasts, & Beer
6pm – 10pm at Bhramari Brewhouse
A 5-course menu created by Chefs Josh Dillard and Jake Whitman, paired with Bhramari Beers.

June 2 – New Belgium Patio Party at Thirsty Monk Biltmore Park
4pm – 10pm at Thirsty Monk Biltmore Park
Enjoy New Belgium Brewing’s new Citradelic IPA, Lips of Faith Hof Ten Dormaal collaboration, Hop Kitchen Series and more, plus New Belgium premiums, glassware, and a chance to win a New Belgium bike!

June 2 – Thirsty Thursday Baseball. Beer City Tourists vs Greenville Drive
7:05pm – 9:30pm at McCormick Field
Watch and sip as the Beer City Tourists (aka: Asheville Tourists – a Single “A” Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) take on the Greenville Drive for Thirsty Thursday.

June 3 – Sunny Point Café & New Belgium Brewing Celebrate Spring Beer Dinner
6pm – 10pm at Sunny Point Café
A four course, New Belgium Brewing beer-paired dinner beginning in Sunny Point’s lush, on-site garden.

June 4 – King Coconut Luau
TBA at Catawba Brewing South Slope
Attend a King Coconut Porter release party luau with outdoor games and pit cooked pig in the Catawba Beach Courtyard.
